Sexual Sin
Calvary Bible Church stands against all sexual sin, such as adultery, fornication (including pre-marital sex, members of the opposite sex living together prior to marriage, and pornography of all kinds and in all forms), prostitution, homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality (Lev. 18
; Mark 7:20-23; Rom. 1:26-27), and polygamy (Gen. 2:24; Matt. 19:4-6) believing that all are opposed to the true gospel as set forth in the Scriptures (I Cor. 6:9-10). We readily acknowledge that it is the responsibility of the church of Jesus Christ to witness to those who are entangled in such sins, knowing that only Jesus Christ can forgive all sins, and through the power of his Spirit, set such ones free (I Cor. 6:11).
